Has anyone helped an MA payroll client setup the new sick pay accrual? It's a little weird - it says 1 hour per 30 hours, BUT it's not a minimum per check. So if they got paid 10 hours this week and 20 next, they would get their hour. Do I just make the accrual rate the 40 hour max (but they don't HAVE to max it, I see) divided by 2080?

Thanks, @JeffSchwenk - looks really good. I'll get into the details this week while on-site and bored at my hotel at night. (Wait, when does that ever happen - there are always a million emergencies to deal with at night....)

Sage support let me know on Thursday that they will be releasing an updated article with more accurate examples once ""legal"" approves it.
