    Has anyone had or know of anyone that has successfully moved from HT POS to IIG POS? Have a couple of clients asking for references. If anyone has experience feel free to email me at pam@oasisky.com. Thanks!

    I have worked with IIGs POS in the past. It has worked well and is very Sage 100-like. Bob Sosbee wrote the program and he is the point of support. The only issue I have is that he is the only person that can support it, so if something goes awry you better hope Bob is not busy.

    @PamScott - Did you look at the HT official replacement? If so, what were your thoughts? http://www.fusionrms.com/integrated-solutions/sage-pos-wms/

    @JohnHoyt - Why?

    I liked the package before Mike Gill took it over, and he has improved it. It' a front-end to the Sage 100 data files, so no synching or having separate inventory files. It really has a lot of good functionality and easy to use. He also integrates to other packages, like Acumatica.

    Thanks. @JeffSchwenk and @JohnHoyt we are just completing our first Fusion implementation from HT and will be evaluating the overall Fusion project within the next couple of weeks. We've had a couple of issues, but it may just be the nature of the beast. We have a couple of clients that really need some functionality that Fusion doesn't provide and they weren't real excited with the work around. They have looked at IIG POS but we are trying to do our due diligence because we have never worked with this reseller before and though we have no reason to doubt their claims, maybe I've just been around too long to take everyone at their word and like to talk to folks that have been through the actual process. :-)

    Pam, I would like to hear more about your Fusion implementation as it progresses.

    We have a couple of clients in the process of moving to IIG from HT POS. I will know more in a month or so. I will let you know what I find out.

    We have a 57 user installation of Sage 100 with 8 POS lanes on Fusion. We upgraded from High Tower in November 2014. It was pretty smooth.

    Ditto @DougHiggs. IIG POS is solid and has been around a long time. Bob Sosbee knows his stuff. Fusion is a very different POS solution with lots more retail functionality.

    So - - IIG for more of a entry level Sage centric POS and Fusion for more of a heavy duty POS ?

    @WayneSchulz Yes, that's my opinion.

    For sure Wayne... I wouldn't try and run Walmart with IIG POS, but for a small retail store with 2 POS stations it works well.
