Has anyone had issues with the physical count mysteriously getting wiped out? Maybe specifically to using count card entry
Below is an email from one of our other consultants I had a very similar call from a different client a few months back except in that case they had an excel file of their counts; so I reimported in that case. The call was basically the same that she printed her card count report and then everything was wiped out. I assumed it was user error but now I'm re-thinking that.

Last night, I took a call from Sally. She was in the process of updating card counts and the physical count register when she noticed that some corrections were needed. I believe she'd run the Card Count report and then ran the physical count variance register. She noticed some really insane numbers on the physical count register and decided to stop.
When she got back in to try to edit her entries, ""nothing"" was there. Not real sure what was going on,..
I did make a copy of the company and tried to rebuild some of the data files. Rebuilt card count and physical count files. Couldn't rebuild Sort files because someone had an AR Invoice Inquiry screen open (that we couldn't get closed). Sally then re-froze inventory and when she started her entries again, they all re-appeared.
She went through the reports process, and the physical count variance register (which looked infinitely more correct the 2nd time through without doing any edits) to get the counts updated.
Before she re-froze the inventory, I'd tried going in DFDM to look at the IM_Physical file, but it ""showed"" empty, even though the file size was about 10M The Card Count files were ""empty"" also.
Not 100% sure what really happened there, but the good news (for her especially) was that they didn't have to re-enter 32 pages of counts.
Just wanted to throw this out for consideration. Is this a bug in Sage?
