Has anyone had an issue with SAGE 100 Standard User logon and password working on some workstations and not others? Client set up a new user ""PAM"" in version 4.20 for a new employee with a new workstation (Windows 7 Pro). Existing user logons work ok on the new workstation and new user ""PAM"" can log into other workstations. But, ""PAM"" cannot get on her new workstation. Error message is ""The user logon or password does not match"". Password is all lower case alpha - so it's not a problem with Num Lock being OFF.

    1. *INFO - be sure you're not connected to another copy of Sage 100, 2. Copy/paste the password from a text document

Wayne and Robert - That was it! The IT guy who set up the new computer did the ""installation"" of SAGE 100. He must have used the first instance of .../MAS90/Home he came across not knowing where the ""live"" version was located.

I sometimes forget that the caps lock is on when I am setting up an administrator PW for the initial install. Everything is opposite. Very frustrating.....

It would be nice if the SAGE message said something like ""The logon or password does not exist"" Then the IT guy would have a clue that something is missing instead of something exists but does not match.

Perhaps this is Sage's attempt at throwing business our way. IT folks have a habit of developing swelled heads....
