I find I constantly need to send IT or a customer a link to the supported platforms in advance of upgrades or other Sage 100 projects.

I know you can link to the master document of ALL SPM - all versions of Sage 100 ( here

What I would like to do is link directly to the (pdf) version and flavor of Sage 100 that the customer needs to download. Since Sage appears to handle this download via some type of script - it's not possible ( or at least I haven't figured out how ) to link directly to one of the specific versions. So every time the customer asks I either have to use a copy saved on my computer ( hoping it's not outdated ) or login to the portal and download the SPM again ( I must have several hundred on my drive ).

It might look like you can right click and copy the URL to any of the above - but all you get is

    https://support.na.sage.com/selfservice/

The business reason that I care about linking directly to the relevant document instead of (a) attaching the pdf or (b) just linking to the overall KB and advising the customer to download it themselves

    a. Customers ask for a quote and then sit on that quote for 6 to 12 months - and by then they barely remember what their initial request is.
    b. Attaching a PDF works but it's then susceptible to being out-of-date by the time the customer eventually looks at it

It would be easier to have a master list of URLs that could be sent and the customer could click and directly download the PDF without having to make a decision as to version and standard/advanced/premium. By linking directly to the version/flavor of Sage 100 SPM we would not need to worry that the customer delays their upgrade 6 to 12 months and is looking at outdated info or is asking for an update.

Not a huge problem in the scheme of things - just wondering if anyone has found a better way to link directly to the source PDF?

You may wish to instead use OneDrive or Dropbox or comparable.

My concern is that as the various PDF copies in OneDrive/DropBox/Drive change that the underlying public share URL is going to change and that then negates my ability to "send a direct link and forget it".

It's not the world's biggest issue but would be nice to have an easy way to send the customer directly to the appropriate always updated PDF without having to add instructions on what to look for and download.

"Click this link for the latest SPM for Sage 100 2022 Standard" -- and I don't need to worry that the customer ignored my email for 9 months and whether the original document is out of date.

I sometimes use the documents page, which links to the download page (no need to log into the Portal).
    http://cdn.na.sage.com/docs/en/customer/100erp/Documentation.htm
Then throw in a couple screen shots to show the correct links.
