Has anyone experienced an issue where a transaction entry into BR does not post back to GL despite having generated and printed a DTR. Logged in and ensured that the DTR in both GL and BR is empty as well BR Transaction Register

So you're saying the Bank Transaction register posted but there is no DTR for it?

I think so - I can watch the customer create the entry - post the register - update the DTR and when we go to GL transactions it does not have the entry.

Do they have the integration to BR turned on in GL options? Interestingly enough, I turned it off and then created an entry in BR and went through the whole process of updating it. No where did it tell me it was not integrated and the transaction did not post to GL.

This is tricky because companies that existed in 4.3 (?) work fine - only new companies created in 4.4 prior to PU6 have the issue. And it prints the DTR - just does not upgrade. I opted for the quick fix of DFDM the BR_Options and changing field 8

Nice that it says field 9 but is really field 8. Was it ""N""?

Field 8 was blank when I DFDM -- had to change to Y then tested and it worked fine.

Another reason to stay current with PU's when possible so that you don't have to chase your tail on these issues.
