Has anyone ever had a client use Redtail EDI? Client who will be upgraded to Mas 200 4.50 has chosen Redtail. I've only seen their booth at Summit but have no exposure with them. Does anyone have any experiences positive or negative to share - any gotchas? I don't even know what technology they use to push orders into MAS

I met with them to discuss a possible customer. Ultimately the customer did not go forward but Redtail sales process was pretty thorough and we sat down with Jeff Franklin who displayed a healthy sense of wanting to make sure the solution was the right one. @RobertWood has a lot of feedback on the various EDI. I always tell customers that nobody goes into EDI voluntarily and it's expensive no matter how you slice it.

I haven't had any experience with Red Tail. It is expensive but at whatever point you get there, it ends up being less expensive than hiring more people to just enter the orders and stuff envelopes with invoices.

Redtail has some difference where you either purchase the whole solution up front and don't pay transaction fees. There was something different although I think we could not make a compelling ROI because this specific customer seemed to enjoy re-keying data.

Masochism is its own reward.
