    Has anyone ever created a dashboard for MAS90/200? I have a client asking for the following information on a dashboard. Here is an excerpt from his email: - A single screen which gives them a graphical representation of the dealer's sales performance (compared to prior year(s)), - a demonstration of the types of products which they tend to order, - Open Orders, - RMA status, - credit status, - and basic contact/address information. - Hopefully, they will be able to drill down or have a hot link to the Customer Inquiry Screen on MAS90 for more detailed information. - I envision this screen being up all the time and with an easy input for customer name as the phone calls move from one dealer to another. If anyone has done anything like this before I would like to talk to you about the project.

    I think Dan Burleson and Beth Bowers or Diane Ruth has done work like this. Maybe you could do in BIE. I think this could be very doable with Excel.

    @JeffSchwenk I am thinking Excel or BIE would not be fast enough, they want it to be an immediate inquiry, while on the phone with the customer. @JohnnyPabian ironically, they are switching to Salesforce.com because they could not get the info all on one screen with Sage CRM.

    You could hang the Excel on the MAS Desktop. Using Queries, Pivot tables, and Excel graphs/Charts, I would expect the results to be plenty quick enough (inless you have huge MAS tables. If that is the case, probably and Access table would speed things up. Click on the icon on the desktop, enter your customer number and hit the refresh button. Interesting that they are moving to Salesforce because of the CRM limitations but they are still wanting this information. Can't Salesforce provide it either?

    Just decided to make the move so we'll have to wait and see what Salesforce has to offer.

    Did someone mention my name with regards to ""Dashboards""? Attached is a screen shot of my generic Excel/Sage 100 Dashboard that happens to be configured for Sales Order data. Although this version is limited to a week-at-a-time view everything else - table, fields, color/sort, pop-up comment, criteria and the date basis - is all configurable on the Parameters worksheet (shown). For drill-down it utilizes the Excel comment feature that pops-up when hovered. More options too numerous to put in a shameless plug.

    Don't forget the commission check when you close the sale..............
