Has anyone ever converted a client from Sage Online to Sage 100?

I am doing one this month, what is your question?

Nancy, is Sage Online basically Sage 100? I'm trying to figure out if we just move the MAS90 folder or if we have to export data and import in. I have gotten a support contact so I'm going to try and reach them this morning. TIA

Yes, it's basically Sage 100 with limited features. My customer is moving to Sage 100c. Yesterday I tried to zip up the MAS90 directory and it wouldn't let me right click/zip. I too have an email into Sage Online on what their plan is for getting up the data, timeline, etc. Let's stay in contact here and exchange notes if you're ok with that. Customer had to buy 100c as a new purchase though, you can't use the old keys.

Thanks, I'm on hold with support now. What I want to ask them also is what comparable version the client is running. I'll let you know if I find out any additional information.

Had to hang up for an appointment. I've emailed them with questions but got a bounce back so I need to double check the email address.

I heard from Sage Online support and they said that we coordinate with them to get the files moved or zipped to a location we can download/moved. They acted like we could request a day in advance, but I'm not sure about that. Seems like they will be really busy before year end.

The guy that called me was Trevon Xu and the number on his email is 1-800-253-1372. His signature said Sage300 Online support but he seemed to understand we were talking about Sage 100.
