Has anyone else had an SPS rep contact your customers?

You can reference the discussion in the Sage News and Discussion that started 2/25 for many comments on this. Remember that Sage fired most if not all of the external reps, choosing to bring the sales back to internal reps. I have since been able to retain my former rep as an independent rep and that's who I deal with. If you are able to do that, then you should ignore those that are calling directly from SPS. This move by Sage, IMO, will drive more and more of us to alternatives, such as APS.

Speaking of American Payment: Finally! Spring is here! The weather and landscape transformations all around us can inspire us all to move on and move up. For me this year, spring means that it's time for a change. I worked for SWK Technologies for almost three years, and what a great opportunity! I've met amazing people, incredible teams, dedicated sales professionals at the top of their game, and I've had the fortune to connect with so many new and familiar channel sales partners in this crazy software world in which we all build our careers. Now, however, it's time for a change. Channel Sales is fun, and I like to challenge myself to do better all the time. To keep my energy and excitement high, I decided to move to a new, up-and-coming opportunity with American Payment Solutions, a payment-processing alternative. APS's extraordinary levels of customer service and their dedicated focus on client needs has been pushing their growth in leaps and bounds. I've joined their team to help spread the word about a company I really believe in. In the coming weeks and months, we all will experience many changes but a lot will stay the same. Off the top of my head, this is our list of changes, yours and mine. Things that will change: You and your clients now have American Payment Solutions (APS) as a credit card processing option! American Payment Solutions offers the following benefits and much more: Integrates with Sage 100 ERP versions 4.4, 4.5, 2013, & 2014 Swiping Capabilities on 2014 Level III Processing on 2013, 2014 Next Day Funding on all integrated accounts Free PCI Compliance Assistance APS will beat or match any competitors rate Guaranteed! Partner and Referral Program with higher incentives Request a FREE merchant analysis for you and/or your clients, TODAY! Things that will be the same: You and I will still talk just as much as we did before (maybe even more) I still want to hear about your successes, and how everything has been going for you I'll still see you at Sage Summit in New Orleans (Yay!) I'll still make sure that you and your clients get exactly what they need to build lasting success Perhaps springtime and my change will inspire you too. Perhaps you will want to transform your clients' businesses with a payment-processing solutions company that promises to always find a solution that works for your clients. In a world of infinite possibilities, your clients' companies should have the opportunities they need to change their business into what they envision. Give them the gift of transformation with American Payment Solutions. I will be reaching out to you in the very near future to introduce the new APS Partner Program. Yes, I remember. I was just surprised that a Sage rep was calling my customers. Greg always talked with me and we worked on things together. Ah, the old days with Sage.

@JaneCavanaugh I like your phrase ""the old days with Sage"". It's never been nor will be the old days with the channel. Sage will continue to lose SPS customers and potential by these types of actions. And now that we have another person in the APS ranks, this may happen sooner than later.
