Has anyone else encountered problems re-migrating a company to 4.40 that had been previously migrated. 'Just encountered this on 4.40 PU6. If this is a new issue to the group, I can post the solution; if not, I will not duplicate a previous post.

I think this is a new issue that has not been discussed. What sort of problems were encountered?

Error occurs because the company has already been recently migrated over. You can check the box to migrate previously converted companies in the wizzard all day long and it still will not migrate the company. I encountered this this morning on a 4.40 migration that we had originally done on a testing basis. I called Sage and here is what they told me: The solution is that you need to edit the sy_migratedcompany.m4t file and remove the company for the list. 1. Go into Library Master | Utilities | Data File Display and Maintenance 2. Browse into the MAS90 | MAS_System | SY_MigratedCompany.m4t 3. Press the lookup button and search for the specific company code and remove The company will then be able to be migrated.

Did Sage mention if this was something that was newly broken or related to PU6 or patches? We haven't done any 4.4 upgrades where we haven't migrated the active companies at least twice.

I had not encountered this one before either and all of my previous 4.40 conversions involved at least one reconversion. I suspect that it is related to PU6, but could not get Sage to admit to that.

This was something I encountered early in the 4.4 life. Resolution at that time was to backup the company data files and delete the company in 4.4. Still run into it occasionally in testing situations on various PUs, but not all the time.
