  • 1.  Has anyone done Sage 100 4.5 Premium to Sage 100 2

    Has anyone done Sage 100 4.5 Premium to Sage 100 2014 Premium upgrade? Does it require a new SQL server for the 2014 database? Client currently has Sage 100 4.5 Premium installed on one server and the SQL databases on another server.

    You would need a separate SQL server install as you can't have two MAS_system dbs in one install.

    Thanks. Sage also said we could create a new Name Instance on the same server and said if the client had DBA staff we could go that route, otherwise it's easier to us a new server. I will give my client the options.
