Has anyone done any 2018 upgrades with Job Cost? Any gotchas to be aware of? (Yes I know it was done by programmers who haven't been nibbled to death by the shareholders' cats, but verification is good :-)

I'm about to start an upgrade any day now. I'll report back any problems here, too.

So export out of the old version, piece together all the chunks, and import back into the new version?

Yep, pretty much. I was hoping for a definitive answer about whether they were going to 'fix' that conversion, but I never heard back.

I'm trying to determine if there's any validity to this, so has anyone heard of several bugs/issues (60+ ?) existing with v2018 Job Cost? I have a client who said they spoke with a woman at Sage (around 2/22) who they call their Job Cost specialist, who said they are in the process of addressing these issues, and recommended they wait until PU3 to upgrade to v2018 _since they use J/C extensively_. I wonder if maybe the client misunderstood what Sage said, or Sage just didn't convey it properly.

PU3?!? I was told to wait for PU2 about a month ago and delayed that project until late this month. I don't know what will happen if I try to push it until June...

@AlnoorCassim - Have you heard anything?

I heard there were 16 fixes for PU2 pending mostly Sev 4 (lowest severity level). I'll see if I can find out anymore. PU2 also has the BI Explorer views added to it.
