Has anyone dealt with Sage 100 renewals where a customer owned Timecard and also Payroll but the payroll was only being used to feed the TC data? In the past I believe Sage provided a NC copy of payroll for this purpose. I don't think customers paid maintenance on it. Does anyone know if Sage is requiring payroll tiers on this payroll module when it's only used as a source for the Timecard?

I have a client that has both Timecard and Payroll. However the TC module feeds both Job Cost and Payroll. Their renewal is due in January 2017. Sorry can't provide any help about the renewal.

Sage: they'll need to enroll in the lowest tier (up to 10 employees/ $550/year) if they need to continue getting to updates to feed into TC.

@WayneSchulz I had a client in that situation and that is what they did - set them up with the lowest payroll tier.

Good to know. Thanks for asking the question Wayne. We have one customer in this same situation.

It's important to remember the payroll if the customer needs it. I find Sage is not proactively quoting payroll though their system for generating migrations seems to catch most of the other modules when they issue a quote for 100->100c.
