    Has anyone dealt with a situation with a customer who has turnover in salespeople and they need to swap salesperson AAA for BBB? It looks like the Global Customer Change utility in AR is the way to go. - Do you know if this also changes the salesperson on open sales orders? - Does it change the salesperson assigned in the ship-to? I'm being asked what about paperless when the salesperson is set up as an additional contact. Since that seems to be only via email I presume a VI job has to be done and/or some type of manual data table change? Alternatively I guess I could suggest if they have regional salespeople that they create more generic emails like ""eas@company.com"" for East Coast sales and then point that email to the currently responsible salesperson. Has anyone dealt with this on more than a casual level - where salespeople are coming and going and changes are needed fairly regularly to larger data sets?

    Nothing that I have seen indicates changes to Sales Orders. Maybe try in a test company.

    it does not change it on the open sales orders or invoices, but after you hit OK or PROCEED (not sure which button) you will get a question asking if you also want to change the ship-to addresses.

    We use VI, which gives us full control. Most often for us it is a redistribution of sales regions causing changes. (One customer wants invoice history updated with the new SP code, and since they are on Premium we use SQL for that). When it comes to Paperless settings, we try to recommend using a contact code instead of an additional email address, because that is easier to update later.

    We have a customer who changes sales reps pretty frequently. We have VI jobs set up to change the customer master and ship to addresses and open orders. We have the customer fill in a formatted spreadsheet and we import at a set time. This customer also has Sage CRM and we coordinate so that the customer makes the changes to their customer at the same time (near time).
