Has anyone created an inventory sales history report in v4.4+ showing sales , qty sold, cogs -- by month --- but which crosses years? The standard report is all based on full year.

How many years? Would an Excel pivot table work for the client?

For an ad hoc report, pivot would work very well!

The Customer Sales 2-0 report in Sage Intelligence has all of those columns. You'd just need to add the month to the pivot table grouping.

I suggested the pivot table and customer is in love with having a report hanging from menu.

How about a Crystal cross-tab report? What table are they basing it on?

The problem I've run into with cross-tabs in Crystal is formatting them so the data isn't in staggering cells by column. @WayneSchulz - I set a pivot table up as a public task under the ""My Task"" tab. This allowed them to click on it like a Crystal Custom report.

I like Public Tasks better but have run into some that prefer the ""Custom Buttons"" toolbar at the top. You can do a Rt-Click / Add / Program there.

Don't the ""custom buttons"" reset when you run workstation setup @AlnoorCassim?

No that happens when you uninstall Workstation Setup. You also lose Private Tasks by doing that. When doing upgrades that need that Uninstall I always backup the user folders and mnutaskp.txt under the local Launcher folder
