Has anyone come up with a way to stop a user from creating a new form code in Sales Order Entry (v4.4). So far as I'm aware there's nothing to stop anyone from keying (usually by mistake) into the form code and creating a new code which hangs around (and often cannot be easily deleted except through DFDM).

You can lock the field through Custom Office but you have both the Main and the Quick panels to modify.

Yeah actually if you ""lock"" the field (as @ThereseLogeais mentioned), you can still choose the appropriate Form to use but not have the ability to create a new one.

Another major pet peeve. Too bad there are no programmers around to address this and the other 1,000 plus ideas that users have submitted in good faith. Even with DFDM, you have to clean out the code in several files, all of which is a major PITA even if you know where to look.
