Has anyone come up with a solution for this type of situation? So far as I'm aware there's not a way to specifically find the person who is in a particular batch or am I overlooking a way to do this?
Is there any way we can have our ''in use'' message a little bit more specific?
Example: When a packer tries to ship an order that's already entered in a batch by another packer we get a message telling us ''This entry already exists in batch ****"", by seeing this we know who handled the order.
There are lots of times an order gets revised and the person that revised it forgets to get out (which is understandable) and we need to email them to let them know/ wait for them to see the email/ & wait for them to get out of it for us to be able to re-print Picking sheet. Now, this is the best case scenario. There are times we don't know who's working on the order/batch and we need to call/email everybody to find out. There are times girls are invoicing/posting, they get an error saying the batch or an order is in use, they don't know who it is, and they need to wait until that someone gets out for them to finish posting, etc... If that message can tell us "" entry/batch in use by DL"" we know who to call/email so they can get out and let us finish whatever it is we're trying to do. I think it'll save lots of time. What do you think? Possible?
