Has anyone been able to spot what is preferential about this offer? At first I thought it was that Sage was limited the price % increase but they say ""about x%"" which implies to me that it isn't limited. So, where exactly is the preferential offer in this?

    Not paying the initiation fees?

If you are a Gold plan and pay $20K then you can take advantage of the special and only increase 25% to $25K. You get a new UI and then next year you can pay the regular subscription rate of $30K. In addition, you pay another $20K to upgrade. ... but you do get an expanded PO number filed!

If you live in a state where pot is legal, then make sure you partake generously before reading these and all will become clear.

It's the same play Sage is making with Payroll. The current list price for 100c is $10K per year, but you, Mr. Perpetual Customer, may take advantage of this offer for no activation fees ($5K discount), and only a 15% or 25% increase over your current Business Care Plan. That's my guess, anyway.

The rule up to now was that it was a 15% increase for all levels, and now they have introduced 25% and 35% if you choose the higher plans. Note that if on a perpetual Silver Plan and you upgrade to a Gold Plan, it is only a 19% increase. Obviously Sage has bought into Common Core math.

    Quite a compelling value proposition.

There is a BPAC meeting next week in Atlanta, but there is nothing specific on the agenda about the price increases. Needless to say, we were not consulted on it prior to its release. I suppose annual price increases are considered business as usual.

Further down from the image @WayneSchulz posted looks like a typo. How can someone be Sage 100c (N-2)?

If a customer lapses on their payments on subscription, they can get to N-2, since there is currently nothing in the software that stops them from using it.
