I am at aDigital Transformation workshop with SAP (playing hookey from)... They are selling technology prototypes here with specific customers who are prototyping. Very different approach

It is not about the partner, it has not been about the partner for a while. It is about generating revenue for Sage. You do get margin, and it could drive more visitors to your website though...

So, Sage's solution to not having enough seats at sessions, is to register early? What does that do to solve the issue of not having enough seats available?

Yep, and we aren't even having workshops in all locations. Why bother going to Seattle.

Promtions are not well received by partners? Interesting. I always thought selcted proptions like competitive win from x software were very popular.

Just received a follow up ""Beg Letter"" challenging us to bring 3 customers to the event. ""As their business partner, it's critical that you are their guide and trusted advisor."" Too bad they didn't anticipate the overwhelming number of partners attending the sessions on Wednesday.

WTF - Just registered a prospect for the conference on Tuesday and practically all sessions are waitlisted. What the hell is the point of bringing clients/prospects if there is nothing relevant for them to sit in on? Piss Poor Planning IMHO!
