Had lunch with Paige Erickson yesterday at ITA. My expectations are unchanged and I expect at best Sage will be a last minute entry in a similar manner to last year. Paige indicated she has some type of finance meeting to determine her budget.

Yes k saw her a couple times. Talked to Renovo and they're interested but think it's too pricey.

I told Renovo we were probably doing some type of BI shootout but wasn't certain who was covering Renovo

After sending Paige an e-mail, I find out she's in Irvine today visiting the Sales Boot Camp offsite. Hopefully she has time to call me.

I hope sage decides to participate with SI . I think a session on all the training they provide would be received. Excel classss, training webinars, etc. they have been doing a lot of tweeting about it lately.

Paige responded this morning that she met with Finance in Irvine, and since MOTM was not included in the budget, this would be an exception. She didn't indicate this was a problem. She's meeting with Mike Ritchie so they can consolidate their plans. I encounter budget issues at many of the non-profit foundation clients of ours. If it's in the budget, no matter what the cost, then they move ahead with it. We are in process with a large Altec purchase at $25K+, but since it's in the budget, no problem. I know it's different with large, for profit corporations like Sage, but the budget process is something to keep in mind.

I bet Mike Ritchie will push it though. He had a blast last time and know the importance for Sage 100

John your budget comments are right on the money - I think we are running into this with affiliate renewals and it would be helpful for next year if we immediately sent out the information so they could at least have the opportunity to submit a budget. In some cases they may use budget as an excuse not to renew but I do think it wise for us to get costs to them earlier. Thanks for following this!
