Greetings: I need some advice from the experts. I have two clients who received the ""Unlock Region Failure"" message. The first client we eliminated the error be setting the Kerberos ticket to 18 hours, and for the Users logging in the Terminal Server, we force a logoff at 12 hours. No issues after those changes. The second client however, no Terminal Server. One Win7 workstation connecting to a Windows 2008 Server. She is getting this error just about every day. IT says they have excluded the MAS90 files from her AV scan, have instructed her to logout of Windows each night, but she said she ""always does"". They say they've tested her patch cable, but I wasn't there, so I have to take their word for it. Have any of you encountered this issue? Did resetting the time on the Kerberos ticket take care of the problem? These IT guys are questioning me on this, I don't think they are familiar.

You might check power settings on workstation network card. I had one client's user set to 5 minutes for everything to 'sleep'. It did help her.

I had a similar situation a few years back and it turned out to be, of all things. a software upgrade was needed on the swtich.

If this was happening on all workstations I would have gone to the switch already, but since this issue is only one of their 8 users, I can't blame the switch...Unless she was the only one on the switch. Which she is not. I am waiting for the IT guy to get back to me on the NIC.
