  • 1.  GoToAssist vs GoToResolve

    Looking to find out if anyone using the new GoToResolve from Logmein and any pros/cons.They are calling me and offering a free upgrade from GoToAssist with same annual price. Only problem is you need to recreate all the Unattended Computers you have setup in GoToAssist. Anyone switched or using GoToResolve?

    I use GotoAssist as well although much less than in prior years. It seems most customers have asked for me to use VPN/RDP instead of having an unattended access installed to their server.


    Whatever year one price they offer I think it's safe to say the pricing will eventually become their list price ( as shown on their website ).

    And starting in Windows 10 - Quick Assist - a free remote access solution which is loaded on many Windows 10+ higher computers. 

    I don't believe you can do things such as unattended access and/or remote printing. 

    In a pinch it can be a nice tool.

    I've used it a couple times to access remote computers where the customer couldn't install a remote client yet Quick Assist was already on the Windows PC ( I believe Windows 10 or higher is required ).
