    What is the customer trying to do? Export to spreadsheet, or something else?

    Description from the customer:  We are currently tracking our purchase order data using Excel spreadsheets. However, since Excel only allows one person to edit a spreadsheet at a time, we are interested in transitioning from Excel to Google Sheets. I have been tasked with writing a script for the data in Google Sheets, but I am having trouble retrieving our data from MAS100. Is there a way to download data directly from Sage into a Google spreadsheet?
    My guess is that he's trying to data link via ODBC. And yes, I need to ask why they are tracking PO data in a spreadsheet, but I thought that I would queue up some information first.

    Excel can be used in collaboration/share it's been available for years - here are two articles explaning it:

    MS Office Excel Collaboration

    It looks like your customer is trying to avoid paying for Excel licenses.  The new Sage Office Connector may be usable for creating an API to Google sheets, but the cost is likely more than just buying the licenses and using what Microsoft has already developed in Excel.

    With Office365 licenses, they can share and edit in Teams, SharePoint or OneDrive in real time.
