Good questions from CompuData regarding vendor member webinars: ""How do you usually promote the webinars? Is it featured in the newsletter? Can we have an ad on the 90 minds site?"" I was under the assumption it was only promoted on SC but I could be wrong. @PeterWolf , @WayneSchulz ?

It's evolving but for now, it's promoted on SC. If Wayne is game for doing so, he could add a blurb ""Upcoming Webinars"" to the monthly (weekly?) newsletter and to the website. The trick there is that it might get in front of non-90 Minds Members (customers, other partners, Sage people, unknowns). I don't have a problem with it necessarily but broadening the audience will (should?) impact the webinar focus. Platinum and Gold Vendor Members are entitled to have an ad on the 90 Minds site but I just checked the site and it's not clear how that is getting fulfilled. And ... again ... the website is open to all comers so promoting the webinar on the site through their ad may change the audience. I don't have a problem with it but we should discuss what it means for vendor members and regular members attending. If 90 Minds is promoting customer-facing webinars, we need to be clear about it with the members. Personally, I think it would be a good thing provided the vendor members are aware of the associated partner so nothing unpleasant happens.

We will promote it on Socialcast to our members, in our newsletter as well as on our website. The vendor members are entitled to one ad and if they like they can change it to be an advertisement for the webinar (though we probably have to consider how frequently we can allow changes). Since we'll likely do a blog post there's probably no reason / benefit to also running an ad though that's their option. Depending upon the audience we usually would do a blog post - which means it gets to our website as well as Twitter, etc. We will also run a mention in our newsletter leading up to the webinar. Historically most of our attendees have been members who sign up through Socialcast. While we can't guarantee a level of attendance in the past we've seen anywhere from 10 to 20 people depending upon the topic, time of year, etc.

Wayne - how are the ads working on the website? Are they rotating? When I go to the site, I only see one ad - for iSySair.

Wayne is creating a form for webinar requests and one of the questions is, who is the webinar for - partners only or partners and customers. In my mind, if they say it is for customers too, then it should be the 90 Minds members responsibility to promote to their customers as they see fit. The value to the vendors is that it is a focused audience, i.e. partners are doing the initial qualification. Then again, Wayne said it would be all of the above....

If we are promoting to customers, regular members should know.

iSySair has a top banner that is static on the website. The ad in the upper right corner rotates.

Therese will you reply back to them? If not they'll email me 3-5x (and cc: their entire company) to ask if I have a status update....

@WayneSchulz How do you want me to respond? That it will be promoted on SC, in the newsletter, and on the website?

Perhaps just copy.paste my reply above: We will promote it on Socialcast to our members, in our newsletter as well as on our website.
