Good morning all, Looking to see if anyone has used the SwiftPage integration with Sage CRM 7.10. I have a client who is very interested, but we haven't done much on this one yet.

    How is it?

So far I like it. There is some chunkiness of how you use it. They have you link to the website to manage the templates and if you have multiple people sending out the newsletters then you must share the templates they create with the other people in the group for them to see it or use it. I do like being able to see that the email went out and see on all the communication tabs who got the email and even break down to who opened it and clicked on links. I can create different groups for the emails to go to based on customer type or if they clicked on links from previous emails.

Has it been effective in growing the business?

Yes. My old method used a program tied to my website. I couldn't see with out exporting a list who got the email and if they opened it. It didn't track what links they opened. It also didn't have the current email addresses that we updated in our CRM. Now it uses for most of the emails that have a dynamic list that gets the most current email addresses from CRM. Plus while I talk to a customer I can see if they got my newsletter and opened it. I started to make it more personal using the info from the CRM for things like first name and company name and making the email directed to them. This got a much bigger response. I have gotten more calls/emails from those contacts than before. It has lead to a few additional inquires for services that I was not getting prior to going to the linked service.

The functionality and usability are good - not great. For 99% of small businesses, it will be a great leap forward. I'm working on building a Constant Contact link because most of the prospects that I talk to who are already doing something in this area are using Constant Contact. That's a small subset though, so, as I said, this will be great for most businesses.
