Good morning all- can anyone recommend a product that can manage royalties, other than NetSuite? To my knowledge, Sage doesn't have anything...thanks!

I've handled royalties in the past by using a UDF on the item to set a royalty code. Then used a UDT to manage the codes & royalty percentages. Then just had a custom report that read the invoice history and royalty info. They used that to make the AP Invoice & payment manually.

I've done this in a similar manner as Nicole. Set a UDF to flag royalties and then an Excel query to pull the information for the reporting period. Not very elegant, but pretty efficient.

Intacct has a big market in revenue recognition I believe. Not sure if that's a requirement.

Old Extended Solution. Not on DSD website, but may be upgradeable. IM-1239 Royalty Calculation and Maintenance Adds Royalty Maintenance to the I/M Setup menu, a Royalty Percent field to Item Vendors Maintenance, a Royalty Edit Maintenance feature to AP Setup, and a Royalty Purge Utility to the A/P Period End menu.
