    Good Day. I have a client still using Business Alerts (not KnowledgeSync). I notice it appears most of you have moved to KnowledgeSync. I have a couple questions. Why, if they already purchased did you move them? I cannot seem to find who owns/ maintains it. The company is a longtime client with an internal staff that was doing everything. That person has left and we are picking up the pieces.

    Didn't Sage switch endorsed partners? I thought they moved from Business Alerts to Knowledgesync a while ago and that is one reason many followed. Also, IIRC, KS had more functionality and an easier UI and people started gravitating that way. I can't vouch for one or the other - just my recollection of how/why people switched.

    As a company we moved to installing/supporting KS when Sage switched nyears ago. I had a couple of clients that Sage grandfathered in and we moved them to KnowledgeSync as we upgraded them. I used to support Business alerts, but if I had to support it today I would be useless. KnowledgeSync is pretty stable; their support has been good the few times we needed them. I know that you will need to pass a certification test before calling in for support though. if you want to get certified, you can try emailing **cate@vineyardsoft.com** That was a valid email in June of last year; however, based on @PhilMcIntosh post above, I'm wondering if it is still good.

    We have 2 clients actively using KS. Restart the server seems to be our answer to any problems that we have with it. Probably once every two weeks for each of these customers. I started with BA and know that better, I suppose. We still have a dozen or so clients on BA and have no reason to switch.

    At one time Sage was offering a discount for BA users to switch to KS.

    Actually the discount was 100%, or free. As usual, Sage put a time limit on that, rather than automatically shipping those customers a copy of KS.
