Sage 100

Going to upgrade client from Sage 100 Standard 4.5 to 2014 today. client uses SPS with over 10,000 customers. Anything in particular I should be looking out for regarding the credit card info migration? thanks.

Are you uploading CC information. In the back of my mind, I thought the initial uploading could take a very long time. Not sure if this is still the case.

that's a good question. Is it already in the vault at 4.5? I need to find out because client in the rural part of the big island does not have a reliable internet connection.

Vault wasn't created until v2013

Thanks Jeff! sounds like I'm going to have to rethink this upgrade. What happens if upload doesn't work? Can I go back to 4.5 and redo the upload later? v2014 will be on same server.

Found out they don't keep credit card information in Sage 100 4.5 but enter it directly into the SPS vault. So now I need to find out how the upgrade will effect the information in their SPS vault or whether it will at all.
