  • 1.  GL Transaction Journal VI import problem

    Creating a VI job to record CC payments in the GL transaction journal.  Test works fine.  Actual import gives error on all records "Deposit number is invalid".  I am importing data into L.DocRefer which by process of elimination seems to be Deposit Number. (No Docrefer is file layouts, no Depsoit Number field in VI)

    Version 2015 Standard if that makes any difference as to data dictionary bugs.

    Print your import details into a PDF and post.  Is it just one line per deposit?  Is AR an option?

    Just wondering but have you tried moving the batch number to the top? every so often the order does have an effect.

    Thanks guys - got it working.  I think my main issue was trying to set header and line types.  It's weird how there are fields you have to fill in for VI that don't to be filled in in the UI (docref and deposit number, for example).
