  • 1.  GL_PeriodPostingHistory records with blank Fiscal Year/Period

    Had a client on 2019 make a posting that did a reversal in 2021.  It shows up in 2021 but it ALSO created a record in Period Posting History for those 2 accounts with a blank Fiscal Year and Period, which then gave a new Beg Bal to their oldest record (2008), which then flowed through to the current year.  Recalc did not get rid of it.  I had to manually delete those 2 records, then recalc again.

    Throwing it out there in case it's a "thing".  I tried to duplicate on my 2020.1 by doing a reversal into 2027 from 2026 (last year on file), but it worked fine.

    What is the number years to retain history set to?  Not that I've any idea if that had an impact, just curious.

    Looks like we are in the same Mickey Mouse club on this one as well........  Same thing happened to my client a year ago (had to fix as you did) and then last month it hits again (only involved more accounts this time).  Same fix.  v2019 PU2.  Client has GL years set up back to 2001.  History starts in 2005.
