You know those facebook posts that show a picture of something old and it says, ""Do you recognize this?"" or something like that? Yesterday's was a picture of Shirley Temple - do you know who this is? YES, I do and I know ALL of them (an egg beater, roller skates, a bottle filled with water for ironing, etc., etc.)! Definitely getting old....

Debbie, the rotary phone comment brought back a memory. Back in the late 80's when we lived in Chicago, my brother and his family came for a visit. That day we traveled to the Museum of Science and Industry on the lake front. One of the user interactive exhibits was on technology, specifically touch tone vs rotary dialing (no cell phones yet). The game was to see who could dial a ten digit phone number the fastest. My neice and nephew were the first up. My nephew had the rotary. He dialed by pressing down on each hole instead of inserting his finger and turning it clockwise and letting it return. The adults burst out laughing and he had no idea why........

You guys are young! I still USE an egg beater. I was six in 1958 when we traded the crank telephone for our first rotary. Pardon me while I move my walker closer to the screen. :-) After 10 years in programming, I worked with someone who worked on ENIAC!!! However, if Wayne keeps getting up early and taking long walks - he may out live us all!

I say 20. To the phone's. I was reading about the millions people are still paying each year for things like 'touchtone' service and other features for POTS phones.
