Getting a Sage 100 Standard ERP 2014 Workstation Setup has failed error. It cannot install the Visual Studio 2010 runtime or the SQL Server. In the Windows event log it says a newer version already exists. Anyway to bypass these?

try running the ""Sage 100 Standard ERP 2104 Workstation.msi"" program instead of the ""autorun.exe"". That worked for me on an install of 2014 workstation with the SQL issue.

Thanks. That is indeed what I tried after waiting on hold with Sage for 45 minutes and it worked.

No, there is a file called ""Sage 100 Standard ERP 2014 Workstation.msi"" that you can click on and it will run the workstation install, but does not check for the prerequisites. I am not sure what will happen if the prerequisites are not there. In my case the prerequisites were there but were newer that what the WKsetup wanted to install.

Ok, I see it now. Interesting solution. On hold for 45 minutes or working with Sage for 45 minutes with no resolution???
