General Ledger Exchange ignores filters when exporting

Description
When using the General Ledger Exchange utility to export data, the filters or parameters set in the export settings are ignored (E.G. running an export of transactions from 2014 year results in an export of all transactions from all years).
Users may also get ""unable to export GL_ExchangeTransaction.rpt. Invalid pointer"" when running export.
Issue is occurring for the following versions:
2016
2015 PU3
2014 PU7
2013 PU9
Resolution
Sage engineering is currently reviewing this issue.
Possible workaround is to open exported file and filter data directly in Excel.
