  • 1.  FYI: v2021.2 'Standard' to 'Advanced' Migration issue with Keys

    Fyi, apparently there's an issue when performing a v2021.2 'Standard' to 'Advanced' Migration.  The Migration brought the Standard unlocking keys over even though the Advanced keys were entered during the Adv installation.  Launching Sage 100 yields the following message, so needed to open the Advanced sy_system file via DFDM in another installation and enter the correct keys.  This was not an issue with a v2021.1 or v2019.4 'std to adv migration'.

    We've done multiple such edition changes, and never had issues with old keys being copied.  Did you report the issue to Sage?

    I would check with Sage – if they are on Subscription then my guess is that their portal that Sage used to verify the keys has the wrong keys. That has happened to me a few time. if that is the case those keys might get set back to standard again if someone goes in and clicks on UPDATE on the registration screen or something.

    No, I am going through my first 2021.2 upgrade now and it's Premium to Premium.  I was talking about older versions.
