  • 1.  FYI, upgrading and new 'condensed' functionality re: modified standard reports

Upon upgrading a client who uses modified standard reports that now have new 'condensed' functionality (e.g. Aging Reports), note that the reports may not properly work initially.  For example, AR_AgedInvoiceReport.rpt on v2015 is now AR_AgedInvoiceExpanded.rpt (non-condensed) on v2018.  Therefore, my client's modified/custom A/R Aging Report Setting defaulted to the new out-of-the-box "expanded" .rpt since it doesn't exist in the client-specific Reports folder.  I first tried just simply renaming the .rpt file but it was still printing too small, so I ended up having to re-modify the custom Aging (i.e. the new "expanded" .rpt).

Does this apply only to STANDARD but not reports that have been customized and saved as another name?

No, it relates to modified versions of the report, i.e. new Report Settings.  STANDARD should be fine, unless of course it's modified on the client's system.
