FYI - SPS v5.0, CC Processing error ""Cannot Connect to Sage Exchange""
Client running 2013 ERP Standard with CC processing by SPS. They were recieving error message when trying to process a CC transaction in MAS (either charge or pre-auth) stating that Could not connect to Sage Exchange. This was a sporatic error that grew to be consistant.
Turned out that the system was generating a new 'vault ID' for each copy company made off of the production one. One company vault had records populated and others were empty or incomplete (missing records). SPS had to correct this matter by merging the vaults. If you are getting this message it would be wise to check the Vault number listed in Copmpany Maintenance, CreditCard tab, Sage Exchange Vault Informaiton -> Vault ID. If they are different in the listed companies then you should contact Sage Payment Solutions for support on correcting this information
