FYI Service update 4 is available for 4.5 and service update 10 for 4.40

DE 99554 KBID 539727 SO fixes in Product Update 4.50.04 Shipping - changing the quantity shipped on an order with back order quantity, the back order quantity now recalculates DE 99531 An Error 88 SY_GRIDHANDLER.PVC statement 3517 followed by Error 65 SO_INVOICEDETAIL_BUS.PVC line 0370 no longer occurs in Shipping Data Entry after selecting the Backorder button on a partially shipped line. DE 99172 3 Sales Order Credit Memos with Deposit refund now display the correct order total. DE 98472 KBID 112684 Resolution ID 539892 An Error no longer occurs when copying a Sales Order with an item that has a primary vendor and Purchase Order is not installed or activated DE 98924 KBID 9000014 5 Shipping data entry not backordering quantity on partial shipments has been corrected DE 99279 KBID 9000145 6 Posting reversal on sales order invoiced from RMA replacement sales order has been fixed DE 98509 KBID 112775 Resolution ID 540765

I just installed it on my local machine and it didn't require a data conversion.

On the last pages of the PDF where the list of file changes are displayed, they now list the tables that may undergo conversion.

Good to know. Would have been nice if they had updated the header to that section to show the current version number. Gotta love that attention to detail.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading PU4 from the Sage Partner Portal? Seems like any of the links that point to https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com, are problematic (e.g., 4.5 PU4 & PU3, 2012-Q3 TTU & 2012-Q2 TTU, 4.40 PU10 Web Engine Program Fix Collection). However, the links that point to http://infosource.sagesoftwareonline.com, work fine (e.g., 4.5 PU2, 4.40 PU10, 2012-Q1 TTU).

Strange, download issue seems to be specific to my computer.

From one of our consultants: ""Don't install pu4 for v4.50 if you need to migrate data. Stay with pu3. Pu4 errors during migration, 'Unable to create SY_Migration object'. Sage couldn't figure it out either. They called me back after more people starting reporting the same thing today.

Thanks, @BillPfahnl Do we know if it's okay to install PU4 ""after"" the data's been migrated/converted? Or is it being recommended not to install PU4 at all?

I'll check, but I believe it's only if you're upgrading.

Sage is unsure now about pu4, they said just install pu3 for now & convert but didn't exactly endorse pu4 yet. Said yes maybe install pu4 after conversion but only if really needed it for now.

Pfff, well as long as Sage is ""confident"" about the latest PU that they released to the entire public. Are ya kidding me?

Hmmm...so it wasn't a problem with the customer's data the other day...I had this problem but assumed it was due to a server crash and IT-initiated restore awhile ago. I ended up piecing the companies and security back together after performing a clean install instead of performing a migration.

I think this is an important notice so I sent it as a broadcast to all the members of 90 Minds Socialcast.

I received the same message today - 11/20/12 during a migration - I am unsure whether this may also have had to do with the IT department not providing me with administrative rights on the server. I had installed PU4 prior to migration.
