FYI: Sage 100 2016 PU2 - EU is on perpetual, using Timecard and Payroll. Opted NOT to subscribe to payroll tears. We installed their Sage 100 2016 PU2. Payroll shows up but you cannot get into it -- gives warning. However, it appears that you can VI to payroll and that TC will read the existing payroll data that is in payroll employee maintenance.
TC requires payroll to read in data and I think at one point Sage even bundled Payroll with TC at no cost (aside from maintenance).
This EU may use VI to populate employee info so that they aren't locked into a subscription with Sage
