Fyi, here is some information on the very recent changes that BizNet made to the software, installation guides, etc.:
The process for extracting the Shared Directory Files to the share on the network is different. There's a new recommended folder structure; I think primarily because the software now supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Excel.
BizNet License Administration tool, which includes installing it, validating the License, and specifying the users - and this helps streamline the creation of the .users files.
There's a new Scan for Content step once inside Excel after installing BizInsight, and I didn't have to manually add in the add-in.
The Default Reporting Services Folder Name on the workstations now needs to be MAS90Providex (not MAS90_Reports like it used to be):
o Workstation > Excel > BizInsight > Application Settings > Default Reporting Services Folder Name
o This surfaced when I was having trouble getting data to come into Excel from MAS on the 1st workstation I was doing.
o Apparently BizNet changed the default TargetReportFolder setting to MAS90Providex (from MAS90_Reports) in SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio (where you right-click on MAS90_Reports, and select Properties).
o This folder name can also be determined by going to the ReportServer url (e.g.,
http://SERVER:80/ReportServer_BIZINSIGHT).
o Appears this doesn't apply for MAS SQL as it's still MAS90SQL
