  • 1.  Fusion from Hightower

    I have a client that was contacted and sold Fusion directly.  They are implementing and running into cash issues related to close out and reconciliation and acquard processes related to this.  Is anyone else having issues?  Find success with a certain process?  I haven't jumped into the problem but the client is calling me in after now becoming frustrated with the process working with Fusion.

    Hightower?  I thought they were out of business?

    Ultimately, I believe their POS (I assume that is what you are referring to) was sold to SWK and then to Fusion POS.

    Worked with them for a while trying to get the old Hightower POS stable without much success.  I thought that Fusion killed the Hightower platform and was incorporating features from the Hightower POS into their Fusion product.  That may have changed since.

    Sorry, let me clarify.  The client is migrating to the current Fusion platform from the old Hightower solution that was acquired by SWK and then sold to Fusion.  Fusion then immediately put the nails in the cofin and proceeded to migrate what clients it could to their solution.  This client purchased from Fusion and is now trying to implement.  They are finding the integration frustrating.  I am looking for success and advise from other resellers.
