  • 1.  FRx version 6.7 with MAS 4.05 question. Single use

    FRx version 6.7 with MAS 4.05 question. Single user, local install. The user is trying to log into Report Designer for his company and he gets the message stating the GL index file for this company is currently being rebuilt by his user ID. KB article said to look for .LCK and .G32 files in the Sysdata directory - found a few .G32 and renamed them but the same message appears each time he tries accessing it. I know very little about FRx so any info is appreciated!!

    What happens if someone else logs in as the user? Try rebuilding the GL sort files in MAS. Try going into the administrative drop down and shut off the rebuild sort files at launch. Reboot the server in case windows has locked a file. Upgrade to v4.5 or v2013. GL is so much better.............

    I just emailed him your suggestions and emphasized the last point - Upgrading is ALWAYS an option....

    reinitialize the GLaccounthistory.m4t file and rebuild GL sorts?
