FRx for client on 4.4 Adv. (They're upgrading soon..) When I login to the network and run the FRx reports, they show the correct totals. When the new controller guy logs in with his network login and runs the reports, they are incorrect. Told IT to give him the same rights as me, and SUPPOSEDLY they did. Still happening. Anyone know what specific thing I could tell them to check re rights? The weird thing is that it shows some numbers for the current year, just not the right numbers, so it couldn't really be pointing to some old copy of Sage, I wouldn't think. (Hope it's not another one of those mirror drive things...)

Are you both logging in to the same machine? Accessing the same instance of FRx? Local or network install? I'd be looking at the datasource in the Company Specific settings.

I got it. It was that little ""They're upgrading soon"" that caused the issue - someone had run the wksetup to the upgrade testing version most recently on this guy's login so he wasn't pointing to the current Sage. DOH.

If he launches his 4.40 client, and then FRx, the SOTAMAS90 points to it the 4.40 and he can then pull the reports from 4.40. He just has to remember to always launch the 4.40 before he wants to run his reports till they upgrade.

We didn't even have the other client on there. He was accessing a TS solely to run FRx. It's a weird situation, involving firing and other fun stuff. ACK.

Have the client run the rebuild GL indexes. see if that helps

I play around with the Data Source Name in System Specific Information and point things to other ODBC connections when necessary. You may be able to set up different ODBC connections that point to specific MAS-90 locations in order to force it to be correct every time.
