FRx for 2014 viability project.... done! I have had to dig up lots of notes and I have been scouring 90Minds for every tip I could. But we migrated 4.20 to 2014 and converted on a 2008/2 server, and had to jump through many hoops, but 2014 will work with FRx and SP12.

it is obviously not supported but I have seen FRX working in similar environments. (The issues are around the .net, DLL and WIN operating system) . nothing was done that I know of in 2014 to keep it from working.

And thank goodness... they have chosen an alternative, but have put off upgrading for years and FRx was the final hold up. Now we can upgrade then take our time migrating all reports.

Until IT replaces a workstation. The the fun starts all over again.
