    From the ""What's New in Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud"" presentation yesterday, the ""Past Releases and Future Releases"" slide shows several things I don't remember any conversation about. From the 90 Minds previous presentation, I knew about the Bank Feeds being in v2019, but I didn't know Revenue Recognition was being released in v2019. (@Paul.Ziliak, didn't you say the Global Search you folks have done has not been purchased by Sage yet?) Does anyone have more details on either of those additions, or the Expense Management and eInvoicing features that are supposed to be included at no charge in v2019? TIA.

    I wish they would have spent more time on these features and less on manufacturing. Revenue Recognition could be a nice feature. I thought Bank Feeds may be coming as part of an update and not necessarily being put off to 2019 version. They didn't explain that stuff satisfactorily.

    @SueBennett I do remember Linda saying that eInvoicing was now in the ""parking lot"" or some name she used for where things go that have no defined future. The reason was that there were disagreements about how it should work. That development group seems to think too much . . . or not at all.

    Items appear -- and disappear -- from this roadmap so frequently that I only glanced at the list. There is a very serious problem with the entire product management area in Sage North America. I am not laying all this blame at Linda's feet either.

    @John.Hoyt - that's why I was surprised to see eInvoicing on the slide. Linda told us Pegg was also in the Parking Lot but it is also on this slide. I also thought she said Revenue Recognition was as well. Do you remember anything at all about Expense Management, and who Sage might be teaming up with? We're very much struggling with showing value to clients who are asking WHY they should move to Sage 100cloud. Cost is one thing, but they're looking for real features if they're going to give up their perpetual license, and so far....we're struggling with giving them features they can use that are not already in Sage 100 or features they could use without paying an additional cost to get them.

    @Wayne.Schulz - I think Linda has been set up by Sage. It's not her fault, truly, but there's a reason she's the Sr. Product Manager and is the ""front person"" for us.

    @SueBennett On larger sites we are getting a LOT of mileage from recommending they platform migrate (at no added cost) to Premium. On smaller sites, we are often dropping licenses making the cost equal or less than perpetual. Since I believe Sage will ultimately do away with perpetual I advise customers that the move is inevitable and they should get on board now at a certain price versus waiting to see whether Sage continues hiking perpetual. Personally, I think Sage would have saved a lot of time and effort if they just announced they were going to a subscription 100% and/or that they would be issuing expiring registration keys that would not allow for future upgrades if the customer was not on plan. I'm also talking up the many integrations available to Sage. I find larger customers are more receptive to purchasing add-ons when there's a clear value proposition. I've done more WMS and web integration and credit cards just by mentioning that they are available.

    @SueBennett For Expense Management I would guess Expensify. They have worked closely with both Sage Financials (Live) and Sage Intacct with integrations, so there is already a relationship. I doubt Sage would work with Concur, since that is an SAP company.

    Concur is the leader in Expense Management according to the G2 Crowd Grid, so why would Sage choose the top package, and because of that, Concur doesn't need Sage.

    So - while Sage is saying Expense Management is included - Expensify will charge fees to use their ""built-in"" product, doncha think?

    @Wayne.Schulz - I totally understand what you're saying. I do.

    Power BI is also indicated as included at no extra charge. I suspect that it's no cost provided you already have any Power BI licenses required. Same is probably true with expense management. The integration is free.

    I have a client that is a truck stop. They told me about a Pegg in the parking lot but that is something else entirely.

    @SueBennett Yes, there will be fees. There are already third party integrations with Expense Management - almost all of them - so why wouldn't customers choose the one that may be the best, such as Concur?

    @JohnHoyt - Because Sage wouldn't make any money off of Concur - isn't that why we would use Expensify? Because Sage has ""endorsed"" it? (Ha!) I couldn't agree with you more - I'm much more interested in doing the right thing by our clients, and not how much money Sage is making off of their endorsements. We already have quite a few clients that are using Concur - some happy and some not - but I'm with you. If Concur is better than Expensify, there is little reason to use Expensify. Even if we're told by Sage that we need to.

    Agree with your comments. StarShip used to be the goto shipping solution endorsed by Sage. It works. Just because they chose a different one to endorse we didn't stop recommending SS to our clients.
