From Sage: I believe John's info is probably correct and most of the problems were from Sage or the OS itself incorrectly assigning Sage PDF Printer to LPT1: by default? Hi Wayne, The updated Amyuni Driver and new Sage 100 PDF Converter recommend a NUL: Printer port for both x86 and x64 operating systems. The NUL: port will be created if it does not exist and the printer will be assigned that port. (multiple printers can be assigned to a single port) I know support suggested changing the port in previous releases but that has not been needed since the 4.50 release installed on an x64 operating system. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have issues with P/L and the PU. Happy New Year John Nichols Senior Development Manager, Sage 100 ERP Sage Mid-Market Solutions

Looked in both the 2013 and 2014 latest PU and don't see anything mentioning that you can stay with NULL:, also did a quick search of the KB and the old article(s) recommending Sage: as a port are still there. I was unable to quickly locate anything recommending NULL though it could have been my searching or it could be that the article is hidden.

I ALWAYS change it from Null.

I typically do, also. John's comment probably explains why some of our clients are working with NULL, though.
