From a client - ""We are having issues with Bill and Materials. When I type the item in Bill in materials Maintenance everything looks ok. Then when I select tab lines it freezes and never populates the information"" Client is on v4.3, not sure of SU. They have rebuilt the sort files. Issue just started happening. Not much in the KB. There was one referencing specific items. This is happening on every item.

I would look to see if there is a blank record in eitherBM1 or BM2

If you move the BOM screen to the upper left of the monitor it should work okay. It's a legacy issue.

Dawn, can you elaborate? Move? Resize the grid? Just grab the panel and move everything??

I believe she means that when the window is near the upper left (0,0), the window coordinates do not exceed some artificial limit that is encountered on the new larger screen sizes customers are buying.

Wow, now if that isn't an esoteric BOM solution, then I'm a monkey's uncle!

You will also see this in inventory or P/O as well on 4.30. It's a legacy module thing. And yes, Dan, that's what I meant. The legacy modules can't handle today's newer screen sizes.
