If management would have involved the front line production workers in the project there may never have been an RFP or outside consultants necessary. Too many companies make process decisions in the conference rooms filled with engineers and department managers.... The place to start is with the end users... It might have saved the company $8 million.

I remember a client we had that made toilet bowl 'Wax Gaskets' and had an air 'puffer' that would blow empty boxes off the conveyor belt for just this problem.
