If you are looking to better understand the Sage strategy I strongly recommend you take an hour and read through the quarterly and annual earnings releases as they are issued. The first half of 2021 earnings were just released by Sage and while most of the info is accounting 101 there is a lot to glean from reading about where Sage is putting their R&D money and where they see their market.

All of the Sage investor downloads are available on the Sage Investor Downloads site.

Documents filed with the investing community are the most reliable yardstick of measuring where Sage is headed

Did Sage 100 even get a mention?

Sage lumps in Sage 100 to Sage 200 as a broad category. Which is then listed with Sage Business Cloud.
Sage doesn't list the exact products that they are referring to when they mention Sage 200
I think they've learned from before where they specifically named some products as being sunset, etc.

I think Sage 100 is a component of Sage Business Cloud however Sage's ultimate stated goal is to be a pure SaaS company

I doubt they'll every make it to 100% unless they eventually sell off more product lines.

if you watch the golf tournament on CBS on the weekends, there is an IBM commercial every fifteen minutes or so promoting hybrid cloud.  Sage is still stuck on pure SaaS and now the trend is becoming part on prem and part cloud.  Bell bottoms will be back in style soon!

Am very sure there is a lot of shade in that report.  Maybe not 50, but a lot.
