For $25 this is not a bad prepaid cell phone plan for anyone with kids where they mostly text. My Verizon plan would charge me $20 alone just for unlimited texting. For an extra $5 you're essentially getting 250 monthly voice minutes.
Of course you'll still put up with the crappy selection of phones - but since kids leave theirs outside in the rain or on a school bus -- it's probably not that bad to buy them a cheap phone that they can text away on ...
